netSEO: AWB Dragon Star for CS-Cart

netSEO: AWB Dragon Star is a professional addon for CS-Cart that automates the generation of AWB labels by integrating with the Curier Dragon Star API (CurierDragonStar). The module eliminates manual data entry into the Dragon Star platform, automatically retrieves order data and integrates shipments directly into orders.

Automatic generation of AWB labels

The module allows generating AWB labels directly from the order page, with a pre-filled form:

• Recipient and address data (county, town, address, contact, telephone, email)
• Shipping type: envelope or parcel
• No. of shipments (parcels) and total weight with distribution to parcels
• Dimensions per package (width, length, height)
• Transport payment (sender or recipient), cash on delivery, insured value
• Remarks, package content, unique reference (order_id|company_id|domain)
• SMS delivery option

The shipping process becomes fast, without manually entering data into the Dragon Star app.

Multi-parcel shipments (1/2, 2/2, 1/3, 2/3, 3/3)

The module manages shipments with multiple packages under a single AWB, similar to Sameday and Fan Courier:

• No. of shipments configured in the form (1–20 packages)
• A single AWB with labels 1/2, 2/2 or 1/3, 2/3, 3/3 etc.
• One refund for the entire shipment; the customer pays once and picks up all packages
• Dynamic table: weight and dimensions per package; when changing the number of packages, rows are automatically generated
• Total weight: enter the total and divide evenly by the number of packages, or modify the individual weights and the total is automatically calculated
• API Dragon Star receives nrPackages and total weight (sum of parcel weights)

Unique reference

The module includes the Unique Reference field, pre-populated with the format order_id|company_id|domain (ex: 1025|1|cs-cart.ro), to identify the shipment on the AWB. The reference is sent to the API (reference field) and included in the remarks (Ref: …) for visibility on the label.

Full integration with CS-Cart orders

The order data is automatically retrieved:

• Customer information and delivery address
• Payment method (refund or not)
• Total amount for cash on delivery (or 0 for payment methods without cash on delivery)
• Natural person/legal entity: company name and CUI from the configured profile fields
• Counties and localities in Dragon Star API (dropdowns)

Settings allow you to exclude certain payment methods from cash on delivery.

View and print AWB labels

After generation, the order page displays:

• AWB number generated
• PDF view link (AWB label)
• AWB delete button

The PDF is downloaded from the Dragon Star API (A4 or A6 format according to the documentation).

AWB deletion

The module allows deleting a generated AWB (within the period supported by the Dragon Star API):

• Deletion on the Dragon Star platform (API DELETE)
• Delete from addon database
• Delete associated shipment from CS-Cart (shipments / shipment_items)

Shipping Management in CS-Cart

After generating the AWB:

• Creating or updating a shipment in CS-Cart (carrier Dragon Star, tracking number = AWB number)
• Optional: automatic change of order status after AWB generation (configurable in settings: Yes/No and desired status, e.g. Processed)

Advanced configuration

Settings available in the addon:

• Dragon Star API credentials (user, password) and test mode (test environment: app.curierdragonstar.ro/test)
• Profile fields: Company name field ID, Company CUI field ID (legal entities)
• Default number of packages, default weight, package dimensions (width, length, height)
• Parcel content message (template with {order_id}, {domain})
• Payment methods without cash on delivery (cash on delivery exclusion)
• Change order status after AWB generation (Yes/No)
• Order status after AWB (e.g. Processed)

Individuals and legal entities

The module automatically retrieves data from the configured profile fields:

• Company name and CUI for legal entities
• Contact and address for all orders

The AWB form displays counties and localities from the Dragon Star API.

History and costs

The generated AWBs are saved in the addon database:

• order_id, awb_number, info_sent (data sent), message_in (API response), cost (totalNet), created_at
• The data allows tracking of shipments and reconciliation with Dragon Star

Test mode

The module includes test mode (Dragon Star API – /test environment) forru configuration and flow verification without generating real AWBs.

License and dependencies

The addon depends on netSEO Addons Manager for license verification. The license code is configured in the module settings. Updates are managed through the CS-Cart Upgrade Center (connector netseo_awb_dragon_star).

Native integration into CS-Cart

netSEO: Dragon Star AWB integrates into the CS-Cart administration interface: "Generate AWB" button on the order page (shipping section), dedicated form with two columns (shipping data + recipient), AWB list and actions (PDF, delete) without leaving the order screen.

Without direct Dragon Star integration into CS-Cart, generating AWBs becomes manual and error-prone. This addon provides label generation, multi-package support with a single return, and useful fields (total weight, unique reference) in a single flow, optimized for e-commerce with Dragon Star Courier.
