netSEO: Order Source is a professional addon for CS-Cart that automatically tracks the acquisition source of each order (UTM parameters, clicks from Google Ads / Facebook Ads, referrer and landing page) and displays it clearly in the order list and in the order details in the administration. The module helps marketing and sales teams understand where orders come from, without manual exports and without external attribution tools.

Automatic traffic source capture

When browsing the store, the addon detects and stores the attribution data in the session, then saves it to the order upon placement:

• UTM : utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term
• Google Ads : gclid, gad_source, gbraid, wbraid
• Facebook / Meta Ads : fbclid
• Referrer (originating domain)
• Landing page (first landing page)

If there are no tracking parameters, the source can be classified from the referrer (e.g. Google organic, Facebook organic, Instagram, TikTok, newsletter) or as direct access.

Intelligent channel attribution

The module recognizes and displays readable labels for frequent channels:

• Google Ads / Google Organic
• Facebook Ads / Facebook Organic
• Instagram, TikTok, Newsletter
• Mediums: CPC, PPC, Paid, Paid social, Organic, Social, Referral, Email, Direct

Thus, in the admin, you don't just see raw UTM values, but a clear label of the order source.

Display in the list and order details

For the store administrator (not in the vendor panel):

• Order list - dedicated column with order source (including icons/labels)
• Order detail - block with source information: source, medium, campaign, content, term, referrer, landing page
• Search filter - possibility of quick filtering by source in the order search area

The interface is hidden for the vendor panel (Multi-Vendor), so that marketing data remains visible only for site administration.

Reports by sources

A Source Reports panel is available from the administration menu with:

• Overview by sources (number of orders, revenue, average value)
• Breakdown by source/medium
• Top campaigns
• Percentages (share) on each channel

The order statuses included in the reports are configurable from the addon settings (e.g. only completed / paid orders), to align the statistics with the actual store flow.

Dedicated storage on demand

The data is saved in a dedicated table, linked to order_id :

• source, medium, campaign, content, term
• referrer, landing_page
• capture timestamp

Thus, the source remains available in the long term, even if the browser session has expired.

netSEO licensing integration

The module is part of the netSEO Addons Manager ecosystem and requires a valid license for activation. Includes Upgrade Center connector for updates via the CS-Cart Upgrade Center.

Compatibility

The addon is built for CS-Cart 4.10.1+, ULTIMATE and MULTIVENDOR editions. Required dependency: netSEO Addons Manager . Settings are available at ROOT / STOREFRONT level; source UI is not exposed in the vendor panel.
