netSEO: Generate AWB GLS for CS-Cart

netSEO: AWB GLS Generation is a professional addon for CS-Cart that automates the generation of AWB labels by integrating with the MyGLS Romania API (api.mygls.ro). The module eliminates manual data entry in the MyGLS platform, automatically retrieves order data and integrates shipments directly into orders.

Automatic generation of AWB labels

The module allows generating AWB labels directly from the order page, with a pre-filled form:

• Recipient data (name, contact, phone, email, country, county, city, address, postal code)
• Pickup point (Default address from settings or points retrieved from MyGLS account via GetAddresses API)
• GLS service type: NOS (no SMS, email, etc.), SM2 (Preadvice), SZL (Document Return)
• Pickup date, number of packages (support 1/N, 2/N etc. – a multi-part AWB)
• Table of dimensions per package (weight, width, length, height) and total weight
• Refund (RON), unique reference, remarks, package contents
• Optional: company name and CUI for legal entities

The shipping process becomes fast, without manually entering data in the MyGLS application.

Pickup points from your MyGLS account

The module retrieves the pickup points (sender addresses) directly from the GLS account via the GetAddresses API. In the settings, it is enough to configure the GLS API User, Password and GLS Client Number (client ID); the sender data (name, address, city, contact, phone, email) can be left blank and are automatically filled in from the account. The "Sender data" fields in the settings are optional and can be used as an override or backup if the API does not return addresses.

GLS services

The module offers three types of service (hardcoded, according to GLS documentation):

• NOS – No additional services (no SMS, email, notifications)
• SM2 – Preadvice (notification before delivery; the recipient's phone number is sent)
• SZL – Document Return (document return; fill in the document number)

The default service is configured in the addon settings (AWB Options).

Multi-parcel shipments (1/2, 2/2)

The module manages shipments with multiple packages under a single AWB:

• Number of packages configured in the form (e.g. 2 → labels 1/2, 2/2)
• A single AWB with multiple parts
• One refund for the entire shipment
• Dynamic table: weight and dimensions per package; total weight automatically calculated
• The Count parameter is correctly sent to the MyGLS PrintLabels API

Unique reference and content

The unique reference is automatically generated in the format CMD-{order_id}-{YmdHis} (e.g. CMD-96-20260225045246) to identify the shipment; it can be modified in the form. The package content is pre-filled with "Order #ID, domain" and can be edited. Remarks can have default text configured in the addon settings (e.g. "Contact by phone before delivery").

Full integration with CS-Cart orders

The order data is automatically retrieved:

• Customer information and delivery address
• Payment method (refund or not; non-refund methods configurable in settings)
• Total amount for refund (when applicable)
• Natural person/legal entity: company name and CUI from the configured profile fields (company field ID, CUI field ID)

View and print AWB labels

After generation, the order page displays:

• AWB number(s) generated
• PDF view link (AWB label)
• "Generate AWB" button (stylized GLS blue with yellow stripe)

The labels are saved in the var directory and can be opened in the browser or printed.

Shipping Management in CS-Cart

After generating the AWB:

• Creating or updating a shipment in CS-Cart (carrier GLS, tracking number = AWB number)
• Optional: automatic change of order status after AWB generation (configurable in settings: Yes/No and desired status)

Add-on configuration

Available settings:

• License and API access: License code, GLS API User, GLS API Password, GLS Client Number (client ID), Company Name field ID, CUI field ID
• Sender data (optional): Name, country, city, address, postal code, contact, phone, email – fill in from your MyGLS account if empty
• AWB options: Default service (NOS/SM2/SZL), label print format (A4 2x2 etc.), non-cash payment methods, default customer email, default remarks, default package content, change order status after AWB, order status after AWB

Integration with netSEO Addons Manager

Modulerespects the netSEO ecosystem:

• Dependency on netSEO Addons Manager for licenses and updates
• License code in addon settings; check upon activation and upon saving
• Upgrade Center Connector for updates via CS-Cart Upgrade Center; settings are preserved when upgrading (fn_update_addon_settings with existing values)
• Complete translations (RO/EN) for settings, tooltips (SettingsTooltips) and dropdown variants (SettingsVariants)

Compatibility and requirements

The module is compatible with CS-Cart 4.10.1+, Ultimate and Multivendor editions.
