netSEO: eMAG Products API for CS-Cart

netSEO: eMAG Products API is a professional addon for CS-Cart that automates product export to eMAG Marketplace and stock and price synchronization through direct integration with the eMAG API. The module offers category and attribute mapping, job queue for export and sync, cron scheduling per task, and download of approved offers from eMAG, minimizing manual intervention and ensuring up-to-date data on the marketplace.

Export products to eMAG via API

The module exports eligible products to eMAG using the product_offer/save endpoint:

  • Eligible products: mapped category, EAN and (optional) eMAG Export feature
  • Mapping mandatory and optional attributes per eMAG category
  • Create new offer or update existing offer (price, stock) with eMAG resource ID
  • Validation before export (name, category, EAN, attributes, price, VAT, warehouse)
  • Attribute Mapping Tab: displays only unexported or unapproved products; already approved products are hidden

Mapping categories and attributes

The export configuration is based on clear mappings between CS-Cart and eMAG:

  • Category Mapping: associate CS-Cart categories with eMAG categories; download eMAG categories from API and local cache
  • Attribute Mapping: mandatory and optional attributes per eMAG category; characteristic values downloaded from the API; completion per eligible product
  • EAN, eMAG Export and Synchronization (price/stock) features configurable from settings

Stock and price synchronization

The module keeps stock and prices updated on eMAG:

  • Stock synchronization: sending quantities to eMAG per warehouse, using the offer ID (emag_resource_id), not the CS-Cart product_id
  • Price synchronization: eMAG price calculation (including surcharges), sending only sale_price with offer id
  • Delta sync: only products with stock or price changes since the last submission
  • Optional: "eMAG Sync" feature per product to exclude certain products from sync

Cron scheduling and job queue

A single cron master invokes all tasks; each task runs only when its schedule matches:

  • Download categories – at configured interval (e.g. daily at 03:00)
  • Stock synchronization – e.g. every 15 minutes
  • Price synchronization – e.g. every 15 minutes
  • Check product status – e.g. once an hour
  • Job processing – export, stock/price sync, status check; e.g. every 5 minutes
  • Log cleaning – e.g. daily at 04:00

The general cron command (without run_all=1) respects the schedules; the run_all=1 parameter runs all tasks at once, for testing. Queued jobs (export, stock sync, etc.) are processed by the "Process jobs" task at the configured intervals.

Job queue (export, sync, status check)

Operations can be queued and processed in the background:

  • Types: export, sync_stock, sync_price, check_status, export_forced, download_categories, import_approved_from_emag
  • Batch processing (configured size); progress and number of successes/errors per job
  • Jobs interface: list of last 20 jobs, status (pending, completed, failed), job cancellation

Download approved offers from eMAG

The module can import approved offers from eMAG to update the local list:

  • Paged import (e.g. 100 offers/page); progress displayed in real time
  • Resume from last page to limit (e.g. 100 pages); reset at end of list
  • Update status, part_number_key, emag_resource_id and other fields in the exported products table

API configuration and settings

Connecting to eMAG is done from the addon settings:

  • eMAG API username and password, base URL (marketplace-api.emag.ro/api-3), language
  • eMAG deposit and VAT default – lists can be downloaded from the API (VAT and deposit synchronization)
  • Features: EAN, eMAG Export, Synchronization (price/stock) – selected from CS-Cart features
  • Batch size for cron (e.g. 40 products per run), offer import page size, log retention

Logs and reporting

All operations are logged for tracking and troubleshooting:

  • Logs by type: export, stock, price, error; endpoint and payload/response where applicable
  • eMAG Log Tab: filtering by type, pagination; deleting logs (cleaning)
  • Latest cron synchronizations: status and message per task (Download categories, Sync stock, etc.)
    • >eMAG errors (e.g. EAN already used, validation) saved in emag_error.log with product_id and API response

Integration with netSEO Addons Manager

The module depends on the netSEO Addons Manager for licensing and updates, aligned with the other netSEO addons.

Native integration into CS-Cart

netSEO: eMAG Products API integrates into the CS-Cart administration interface with dedicated tabs: Category Mapping, Attribute Mapping, Exported Products (with status filters, Price/Stock/Re-export/Delete from list actions), Synchronization Operations, Jobs, Cron Scheduling and eMAG Log. API configuration, mappings and scheduling are done from a single point, and export and synchronization can run automatically via cron or manually from the interface.

Without a dedicated integration with the eMAG API, exporting products and maintaining stock and prices on the marketplace involves manual processes, separate files or synchronizations. This addon offers a complete solution: category and attribute mapping, export and update offers with eMAG resource ID, stock and price synchronization at scheduled intervals, job queue and approved offer retrieval, suitable for CS-Cart stores selling on the eMAG Marketplace.
