netSEO: AWB Sameday for CS-Cart

netSEO: AWB Sameday is a professional addon for CS-Cart that automates the generation of AWB labels by integrating with the Sameday API. The module supports both standard home delivery and EasyBox locker delivery, eliminates manual data entry, and integrates shipments directly into orders.

Automatic generation of AWB labels

The module allows generating AWB labels directly from the order page, with a pre-filled form:

  • Recipient and address details
  • Pickup point and Sameday service
  • Package weight and dimensions
  • Reimbursement, insured value, observations
  • Unique reference (order_id)

The shipping process becomes fast, without manually entering data into the Sameday platform.

Delivery to EasyBox / Locker Sameday

The module offers full support for Sameday locker delivery (EasyBox):

  • Associating delivery method (Shipping ID) with EasyBox
  • Save the locker chosen by the customer at checkout (order_id + locker_id)
  • Automatic pre-fill of address and locker data in the AWB form
  • Generate AWB with the correct parameters for last-mile delivery to the locker

The customer pays once and picks up the packages from the selected locker.

Multi-parcel shipments (1/2, 2/2)

The module correctly manages shipments with multiple packages under a single AWB:

  • Number of shipments (parcels) configured in the form
  • Single AWB with labels 1/2, 2/2 etc. (not separate AWBs)
  • One refund for the entire shipment; the customer pays once and picks up all packages
  • Correct display in admin: Main AWB 1/2, 2/2
  • PDF per parcel for correct labels ("1 of 2", "2 of 2")
  • Single shipment in CS-Cart (without error "Products for shipping were not selected")

Full integration with CS-Cart orders

The order data is automatically retrieved:

  • Customer information and delivery address
  • Payment method (refund or not)
  • Ordered products
  • Total amount for refund
  • Natural person/legal entity (profile fields: company name, CUI)

The settings allow excluding certain payment methods from cash on delivery (payments without cash on delivery).

View and print AWB labels

After generation, the order page displays:

  • AWB numbers (or "Main AWB 1/2", "2/2" for multi-parcel)
  • PDF view link for each label (per parcel for multi-parcel)
  • AWB delete button per parcel
  • Expedition history button (popup with statuses)

Configured print template (A4 or A6) from settings.

AWB deletion

The module allows deleting a generated AWB:

  • Sameday platform deletion (API)
  • Delete from addon database
  • Delete associated shipment from CS-Cart (shipments / shipment_items)

Confirmation before deletion to avoid errors.

Expedition history

For generated AWBs, you can view the shipment status history (popup):

  • Statuses and transitions from Sameday
  • Per AWB / parcel
  • Useful for delivery tracking and complaints

Shipping management in CS-Cart

After generating the AWB:

  • Creating or updating a shipment in CS-Cart (carrier SameDay, tracking number = main AWB for multi-package)
  • Products are associated with the shipment (only one shipment per AWB)
  • Optional: automatic change of order status after AWB generation (configurable)

Advanced configuration

Settings available in the addon:

  • Sameday API credentials (user, password) and test mode
  • Profile fields: company name, CUI (legal entities)
  • Default number of envelopes/packages, weight, package dimensions
  • Refundable / non-refundable services
  • Payment methods without cash on delivery (cash on delivery exclusion)
  • EasyBox: Widget ClientId, Shipping ID for locker delivery
  • AWB print template (A4 / A6)
  • Order status after AWB generation

Individuals and legal entities

The module automatically retrieves data from the configured profile fields:

  • Company name and CUI for legal entities
  • Contact and address for all orders

The AWB form displays counties and cities from the Sameday API (dynamic dropdowns).

History and costs

The generated AWBs are saved in the addon database:

  • order_id, awb_number (parcel), info_sent, message_in (API response), cost, created_at
  • For multi-parcel: one row per parcel, same message_in (awbNumber main + parcels)
  • Total cost divided per parcel for reporting

    The data allows tracking of shipments and reconciliation with Sameday.

    Test mode

    The module includes test mode (Sameday demo API) for checking configuration and flow without generating real AWBs.

    License and dependencies

    The addon depends on netSEO Addons Manager for license verification. The license code is configured in the module settings.

    Native integration into CS-Cart

    netSEO: AWB Sameday integrates into the CS-Cart administration interface: "Generate AWB" button on the order page (shipping section), dedicated form, AWB list and actions (PDF, delete, history) without leaving the order screen.

    Without direct Sameday integration in CS-Cart, generating AWBs and managing deliveries to EasyBox becomes manual and error-prone. This addon offers label generation, multi-package support with a single refund and locker delivery in a single flow, shipment tracking, optimized for e-commerce.
