netSEO: Altex Connector for CS-Cart

netSEO: Altex Connector is a professional addon for CS-Cart that connects the store to Altex Marketplace via the official API (v2.0): export products to catalog, synchronize stock and prices, import orders and mapping between categories, attributes and statuses. The module reduces manual work on the marketplace and keeps data aligned between CS-Cart and Altex.

Altex API Authentication and Connection

The connection is configured from the addon settings:

• Public API key and private key (request signature according to Altex documentation)
• API URL (default marketplace.altex.ro)
• Dedicated User-Agent (recommended approved / whitelisted with Altex)
• Debug mode for detailed logs (export, request/response where applicable)

Mapping categories and attributes

Preparing the catalog for export follows the same type of flow as other netSEO integrations:

• Category mapping: associate CS-Cart categories with Altex categories; download and cache categories from API
• Attribute mapping: mandatory and optional attributes per Altex category; completion per eligible product (including values from CS-Cart features)
• Products displayed when mapping attributes: eligible (mapped category, active export, EAN) and which do not have a record in the Exported Products tab (regardless of status), to avoid duplicating the configuration after the export has already been attempted
• Brand: automatic resolution from the Altex brand list for the mapped category, with fallback to the store value

Export products to Altex

Export sends product batches to the Altex Catalog API:

• Eligible product selection with attribute mappings and mapped category (aligned with the Attribute Mapping tab)
• Data validation (EAN, brand, images, mandatory attributes, etc.) before sending
• Handling partial_success (HTTP 202) responses: products created in the same batch vs. slots with error messages per product
• Duplicate EAN in the catalog: when the API message includes the existing Altex product ID, the module can try to associate the offer (POST offer on the product in the catalog); when the message does not contain an ID, it tries to resolve it by searching in the catalog (EAN, filters, seller code); if the API does not return a usable ID, the automatic association cannot be completed (visibility limit in API / data at the marketplace level)
• Images: structure required by Altex (e.g. main image + collection; tire / EPREL validations where applicable)

Exported products and status

Local list of products sent or tracked on Altex:

• Status: pending, under approval, approved, rejected; rejection reason and details from API
• Altex product ID, offer ID, prices, codes, export date
• Actions: check status, synchronize price/stock, re-export where applicable, delete from list to re-enable mapping

Stock and price synchronization

Maintenance of active offers on Altex:

• Automatic synchronization of stock and prices at configurable intervals (chron)
• Working on exported products / associated offers in Altex

Altex Orders in CS-Cart

Integration of orders from the marketplace:

• Import orders from Altex (cron or manual operations, according to implementation)
• Order status mapping between Altex and CS-Cart

Cron and background operations

Repetitive operations can be scheduled (e.g. stock/price synchronization, product status check, order import), so that the store stays up to date without manual intervention at every step.

Logs and troubleshooting

Important events are recorded for audit and support (product export, API errors, synchronizations), making it easier to diagnose cases such as image validation, duplicate EANs, or partial_success responses.

Integration with netSEO Addons Manager

The addon depends on the netSEO Addons Manager for licensing and updates, in line with the other netSEO modules.

Compatibility

Intended for CS-Cart editions supported by the package (e.g. Ultimate / Multivendor, according to the addon's schema). Valid Altex Marketplace account and API access required.

This addon brings together mappings, exporting, duplicate/partial_success error handling, synchronizations, and orders into a coherent flow for CS-Cart stores selling on Altex Marketplace.
